How does a commercial CO₂ heat pump work?
Unlike conventional electric hot water systems, Q-TON captures natural heat from the surrounding air and transfers it into water, using significantly less electricity.
1. Capture natural energy
Outside air passes over the heat exchanger, allowing natural CO₂ refrigerant to absorb ambient heat.
2. Concentrate the heat
Advanced two-stage compressor technology increases the refrigerant’s pressure and temperature, efficiently concentrating the captured energy.
3. Produce and store hot water
The system transfers heat into water, producing temperatures up to 90°C for storage and distribution throughout the building.
