Very reliable and uses so much less electricity. Tank proved to be very well insulated because when we had a long blackout we had hot showers for three full days and warm the fourth day. A borrowed 2.5kW generator made more hot water very quickly.

We had the reclaim hot water heat pump installed in January of 2023. It has been working well. Certainly seems to be very energy efficient. The controller is quite cumbersome to set (mode, timer and clock settings) in its design and location. Having a portable controller or phone/computer app with user friendly design would be much better than having to set on side of house on bricks with a somewhat confusing operation setting. Our compressor is located on the roof at out place which we chose for better air flow and space issues on the side of our home. We get a vibration noise through the roof into our bedrooms ( one in particular) which is a bit unfortunate but we have got used to it. So be wary of locating compressor on the roof. It’s not a particularly noisy unit but the vibration though the roof creates the noise. Overall would recommend it as a good performing hot water heat pump. Remains to be seen how long lasting it is though as it is still only 3 years. Our previous gas hot water lasted almost 30 years and even though I would not recommend anyone get a new gas unit these days ( cost to run and green house gases) I doubt very much that it will last anywhere near that long. When it needs a repair will see what that experience is like?

Owned the Reclaim REHP-CO2-250SST + controller system installed 6 months ago. (I also have solar PV and a battery installed). The system is working great and fulfilled my expectations. Had 4 guests (6 people in total) staying for 3 weeks and we had no issues related to hot water supply. I can highly recommend the system

The reclaim was a replacement for a hills evacuated tube gas boost System damaged in a severe hail storm. The reclaim system was installed by a master plumber from Adelaide. Since the change and perfecting the timers it works perfectly and has replaced the lpg consumption. As we are off grid going electric has saved us 30 kg lpg a quarter. The timers are set for sunlight hours.

We have only had it installed last week it had a problem with the pump, reclaim sent a plumber the next day who did a fantastic job who worked tirelessly and fixed the problem and set everthing up including the wifi and app, we love how easy the app works to set the timer for the pump to come on for 5 hours and it switches off after 1.5 hours so doesn't need the 5 hours. I would recommend the Reclaim to anyone who want's a heatpump

So far so good. Easy to manage and with Solar panels very inexpensive to run.

We've replaced gas-hot water with this heat pump and we're not looking back at all. At times we do have issues with the power supply from the grid, which once forced the controller into error mode. However, with the new wireless controllers, the support is able to get the heat pump up and running again in no time.

I replaced my old hot water service with a Reclaim system several years ago and it was one of my best investments. It is reliable and together with my solar panels, has vastly reduced my power costs.

Brilliantly effective, our Reclaim gives us 'free' hot water every day, powered by our solar or house batteries. It's crazy efficient, only running for 1-2 hours daily, and so quiet! Couldn't be happier with our Reclaim!

I have had the heat pump system running for over two years now and no problems so far. The system is set to kick in at 10 am and generally runs for around 90 minutes for my hot water needs. As such it uses mostly solar power and is very cheap to run. Even on cloudy days it draws a fraction of the power that a thermal electric system would. It is basically a reverse leveraged air conditioner and should be reliable. Time will tell.

Easily installed by supplier. Water is a lot hotter than the previous roof top solar water heater. We have solar electricity, no noticeable increase in costs.
